The Night Cafe

Image
The Night Cafe The Night Cafe is painted by Van Gogh. There are lots of objects inside of the room. The line on the floor has a very thick line. The tone of the pool is very dark. The rest of the object were light shaded. The pool table is at the centre. I see a figurine standing next to the pool table waiting for someone while the rest were sitting there waiting for their order. The red wall is next to the ceiling, which is green, is complimentary. They bring the effect on each other, don't they?

Health and Safety in the Computer Room

Image
Health and Safety in the Computer Room Today we discussed some of the health and safety issues in the computer room. One of them were tangled wires, no food and drink and eye strain. Then I looked up on a computer to see what we have missed out. Finally I drew a poster of health and safety issues in the computer room. I drew pictures of a person snoring and what happens when food and drinks go into the computer. It damages the computer and destroy the classrooms. Computers are like a bomb, aren't they? I scanned my poster and sent to my e-mail.

Drawing a Mannequin and a Robot Image

Image
Drawing a Mannequin This morning I drew a picture of a mannequin using my pencil to draw in my sketchbook. Then I drew a mannequin in a different angle. I was easy but took a long time drawing this. Then I took a photo of a mannequin and uploaded into the computer and drew one of my own mannequin."It looked wonderful" I thought to myself.   Drawing a robot image using shapes I learnt how to use shapes to create things out of it. I used different shapes as my first experience on the software. The software I used was Adobe Illustrator. And then I created a robot using these shapes.

Form of Elements

The Formal Elements Today, I saw the formal elements in every picture. There are 8 formal elements. The formal elements are line, pattern, shape, tone, texture, space, colour and form. I saw a painting of Gilbert and George. It involves colour, most of line and tone. It has colour of leaves of green and red of rose. It has also got a tone.

Line Drawing: Plants

Image
The Plant Today I drew a picture of a plant as it was displayed on the table. I had to be accurate at drawing. Then I coloured the picture with lots of different colours. I used cartridge paper, which is from the sketchbook, to draw plants on it. I used the pencil to draw gently and sketched the plants.  Then I photocopied my piece of work using the photocopier. I knew how to photocopy the picture.      Then I used felt-tip pens to colour in the picture. It looks like I made the pot just like a vase. And then I scanned the picture to send it to my e-mail. Finally I downloaded the picture as my original copy. Here is my original copy of my picture of a plant. And here is my computer picture of a plant using my imagination where it is set.

The Fire of London

How did the fire of London start? The Fire of London started in the 1660s. It started from Thomas Ferrier's bakery on Pudding Lane. It took place near Chancery Lane somewhere in Holborn (not Russell Square). It spread throughout London. They used buckets of water to put out the fire. The peasants escaped the fire of London by boats. The boats were full so they have to walk out of the fire of London.  Review from Yesterday Yesterday, in the morning, I drew some pictures of the peasants on the computer. I used a drawing pad. I drew pictures of peasants throwing water and running away from the fire. I also drew a picture of a big fire that spread around London.
